BTCCSquare news:

Malaysian authorities have escalated pressure on TikTok, summoning senior executives to address concerns over the platform's sluggish handling of misinformation. Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil personally intervened by contacting CEO Shou Zi Chew after local officials faced delays in critical cases.

The confrontation follows a high-profile incident where a user falsely claimed affiliation with a sensitive investigation. TikTok's upcoming Community Guidelines update on September 13 will introduce stricter AI content rules, coinciding with global regulatory pressures from the EU's Digital Services Act and UK's Online Safety Act.
